Replacing the Power Supply Module

This section describes how to replace a Power Supply module. If you are using both Power Supply modules and you need to replace only one of them, as they are hot-swappable, you can keep the functioning Power Supply module connected to power while you replace the failed Power Supply module.

Before extracting a Power Supply module from the chassis, after you have disconnected the power cord, wait at least three seconds for the capacitors to discharge.
